How the league works
Membership is $350 a year. $100 is non-refundable dues for league administration and operating costs. The other $250 goes into your prize-fund account, which pays your entry fees for your first ten tournaments. Members are expected to play at least ten tournaments to be invited back the following year.
Your prize-fund account works like a running tab:
- Each tournament's entry fee is taken from your account.
- Your NET winnings are added to it.
- You need at least $100 in your account to enter a tournament.
- If you drop below $100, send a $150 Zelle payment to the Treasurer to top up.
- In December, winning balances can be refunded by Zelle on request, or carried over to next year.
You can check your balance and results any time on the Player Accounts page.
Tournaments and handicaps
The tournament manager announces the format for each weekly game. Scoring is run in Golf Genius. League handicaps continue the Friday Bagger handicap system, with no change to how they're calculated.
Guests and associate members
Members may bring an occasional guest when there's room on the roster. Members get priority when the roster is full, and each member may bring up to five guests a year unless the tournament manager approves more. A guest may join the daily games on a member's account if the member and the tournament manager agree.
Some regular players under 60 may be invited to join as Associate Members, with the same fees, rules and playing privileges as regular members.
